In order to create more equitable and inclusive spaces, audit tools require organizations to examine data through all available subgroups and create action plans based on the needs assessment. We are currently focusing on Safe Schools data (attendance and discipline) and Academics (state assessments, screening assessments, and course placements). Each group will use information gathered through the Social Emotional Learning and the Equity & Inclusion surveys to provide context for decision making.
The Equity Audit will also play an important role in our district’s comprehensive planning process. The comprehensive plan is required by the state and includes accountability measures for implementation.
