On Tuesday, October 22nd, five Emmaus High School students competed at Dickinson College in the Capital Area Math Competition. The team of Ishaan Lal, Caitlin O’Brien, Geoffrey Kleinberg, and Arti Schmidt brought home 1st place in the team competition by answering 25 of 35 questions in the Quiz Bowl correct. Ishaan placed 1st, Geoffrey placed 3rd, and Carter Lowell placed 9th in the individual tests. Ishaan scored an amazing 20/20 on the free response section of the individual contest. Congrats to them all!
